I was happy to see Shauna James Ahern, The Gluten Free Girl's cookbook has come out! I am so happy for her. I have followed her blog for some time. She married her "chef" and now they have a sweet baby. I have followed her for a really long time now that I think about it! They have really tackled some tricky gluten free recipes for this book. I think I emailed her once and asked if she could just start a food company where I could buy their recipes as food instead of me actually making them...I know I sound really lazy but they seem to put so much love and care into what they prepare. Lately, I have been just rushing around the kitchen like a whirling dervish!
And LOOKEY...here are some more of my recipe cards from Expressionery. I actually used one the other day as a thank you note! I sent it to Jo Packham telling her the Creative Connection Event was a recipe for success, I hope she doesn't think I am a dork. You know when you have a brief moment that you think you are being clever but later you realize that maybe you were stretching across the clever line into "just weird" territory?
Anyway, I saw that the cook book is being sold on Amazon as well as Costo, so if you know someone who knows someone (which seems to be everybody) who has to eat gluten free pick one up because Christmas is right around the corner....oh! and get them personalized recipe cards too! Ok, now I am being clever! OHOH! How about we (isn't that funny how I say "we" as if I am volunteering you to help me?) start a column for Clever Gift Ideas for Christmas!? I am sooo into that idea!!! I already have my mothers gift all picked out. I will post it soon and tell her not to read my blog that day!
